A big principle of a speech is to make sure that you grab the audience's attention from the gate.  Blog Post #1     Presenting has always been an important aspect in education. Public speech demonstrates how to inform a large audience with a well-educated and practiced performance which can help listeners understand more. Subsequently, these were the driving factors for the first presentation which led to my classmates blossoming and giving incredibly great presentations. This  blog post will be a general summary and review of the last presentation done regarding the most prominent and important chapters that help the reader and students understand the foundation, fundamentals, and advance tactics of presenting, and what it was like working with others and how I perceived their presentation.   My presentation was about Chapter 10: Using Language Effectively. This chapter outlines everything about communicating with your audience effectively and using the right words or phrases that will lead the audience to gain the maximum understanding of the message you are trying to convey. This topic covered expressions such as slang, jargon, idioms, and more. I thought this was a great topic to discuss because most times a speaker may be trying to give a message that the audience doesn't particularly understand. This chapter helped me understand that using the right terms and phrases at the right time can really determine if your speech is successful or a failure. For example, I believe if you are talking to an older audience, you should avoid slang because they may not understand. Giving tips on how to present your ideas in a speech is a brilliant idea. I was able to explore all aspects of oral communication and maintain constant collaboration with my peers because of this. While working on this project, I improved my presentation skills and witnessed how creative and skilled my classmates were in creating wonderful presentations. This experience opened my eyes to a variety of effective communication techniques. Beyond my preparation and the group work process, this study examines my classmates' presentations and the outcomes of this experience.       To better prepare for my presentation, I started considering the main points that speeches make.
